Cake Pops

I love these little things. I made them twice already. I received a Cake Pop maker and cookbook for Christmas and my girls wanted me to make them for their birthdays so they could take them to school. They were a big hit!

More Flowers

I don't get out too often (I really don't feel like dragging the little ones around) so I try to find things I can photograph close to the house. Here are a few pics of new flowers blooming.

A New Birth

The flowers are blooming on my roof so I decided to pick up the macro lens and take a few shots. Here's one of a flower just opening up.

I had a bit of time and decided to play with Photoshop. Here are a few results.

My Hens & Chicks bloomed over the summer. This is a close-up of one of the flowers on the bloom. After it bloomed, the plant never looked the same. I almost wish it never happened.
