I took pictures at a baptism this past weekend and the parents had ordered beautiful bouquets of flowers for the church. I don't know what these flowers are but I just fell in love with them when I saw them.
Rachael gave me a Mother's Day gift today that she made at school. She gave me a big yellow card that said she loves me. She also gave me a card that said something in Portuguese. I'm not sure what it said so I asked and she said "I don't know - it's in Portuguese." I'm assuming it says "Happy Mother's Day." She also made a horse out of clay. How cute!
I finally had the time yesterday to make my own lightbox... I absolutely love it! I had some artificial flowers so I tested it out last night. Here's a few photos from that shoot... I can't wait to try real flowers, and other things too. If you're interested to know where I got the instructions, check outDigital Photography School.
I love this picture of my daughter, Rachael. It was taken by my husband, Geoff, when Rachael was playing with her trains in her room. We have quite a hard time taking pictures of her. She's a big ham and usually makes the "squinchy" face when she sees the camera.
So... this is my first entry in my first blog. I'm not much of a writer but I thought I would give this a try. My main interest is to show off my pictures (mainly of my family at this point). This is a picture of my youngest daughter, Kaitlyn.
